Barker, Huntley & Mum - taking on the Move your butt challenge for Bowel Cancer fundraising!

This February, as a family, Barker, Huntley & I are taking on Move Your Butt for Bowel Cancer to raise money for vital patient services and research.

We are doing this in memory of Rory, who should still be here with us. Losing him showed us how suddenly cancer can change a family’s world, and how important it is that patients and survivors are wrapped in real, practical support while research works toward better outcomes. Taking part in this challenge will also give us quality time together as a family and a chance to remember Rory. 

Every month, 100 Kiwis lose their lives to bowel cancer - leaving 100 families without their loved ones. Every dollar we raise for Bowel Cancer New Zealand will fund essential services such as counselling, physiotherapy, and financial assistance for patients and survivors - support that helps people hold on to dignity and hope.
