We're taking on the Move Your Butt challenge

This February, the Te Tai Tokerau Bowel Screening team is proudly taking on the Move Your Butt challenge for Bowel Cancer New Zealand.

Every day in our mahi across Northland, we see first-hand how bowel cancer impacts our whānau, friends, and wider communities. It’s why this kaupapa matters so much to us — because bowel cancer continues to take the lives of around 100 New Zealanders every month, many of whom could have been diagnosed earlier through screening.

By moving our butts this February, we’re raising funds to support the vital work of Bowel Cancer New Zealand — including counselling, physiotherapy, and financial support for patients and survivors, as well as research to improve outcomes and save lives. These services make a real difference for people and whānau navigating one of the toughest times of their lives.
