My why...
After the success of my 2025 “Move Your Butt” challenge and fundraising $2725 - it was only fitting I do it again in 2026! The campaign is walking 100km throughout the month of February - 100 representing the 100 kiwis who die from bowel cancer each month.
That is a lot.
Too many.
This cause is deeply personal to me as my Pa/Papa/Dad lost his cancer battle, cancer that started in his bowel, in November 2025.
Each step I take and every kilometre I walk honours those lost to bowel cancer and supports those who are still fighting. Every dollar raised will directly fund essential support services like counselling, physio, and financial assistance – services that make a real difference to patients and survivors during their recovery.
I am asking for your help by donating to my challenge. Whether you donate $5 or the cost of one of your morning coffees or $50 or $100 if you’re feeling super generous - every contribution, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to our goal.
(And the walking means I’m burning off any ice creams I eat along the way!)
