Support my Move Your Butt challenge
This February, my whānau and I are taking part in the ‘Move Your Butt for Bowel Cancer’ challenge. We are taking on this challenge in support of our loved one (my stepdad) Robert 💜
Rob beat bowel cancer last year but still has a way to go with his recovery. Every month, 100 Kiwis die from bowel cancer. Despite the challenges, Rob is one of the good news stories. It was his and Mum’s idea to sign up to this challenge as a whānau.
I will be walking 100km to beat bowel cancer and save Kiwi lives. Together our whānau team will walk over 1,000km total.
Our goal is to raise funds for Bowel Cancer New Zealand to raise awareness, support patients and fund research to stop bowel cancer taking the people we love.
Every dollar we raise for Bowel Cancer New Zealand will fund essential services for patients and survivors, such as counselling, physiotherapy, and financial assistance. These services provide the support and care that many people desperately need as they battle bowel cancer.
I’m asking for your help. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help me reach my fundraising goal and provide life-changing support and research to help those affected by bowel cancer.
It only takes a minute to donate, and your generosity will make a real difference to the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can help fight bowel cancer and make sure no one has to face it alone.
Thank you for your support! 🧡
