Why my mum is going to walk on my behalf

This February, I had committed to take part in Move Your Butt for Bowel Cancer to raise money to support vital patient services and fund research to stop bowel cancer taking the people we love. I'm walking for my koro, Eddie, who passed away on 21 September 2024 after having both bowel then stomach cancer. He fought so hard till the very end. 

Unfortunately, I'm having gut issues of my own and after an emergency admission to hospital on 31 January with gallstones, pancreatitis, jaundice and a blocked pancreatic duct, I'm out of action. I'm scheduled to get my gall bladder out, but won't be up and moving properly for 6 or more weeks. I'm so grateful to all the sponsors and am gutted (no pun intended) by this, so my mum, Maria Low, has stepped in to walk on my behalf. Thanks Mum xxx
